Workshop :: Digital Storytelling & Presentation Tools

3: Find Images & other media

(Photo credit: Painting with Watercolors, Ernst Vikne)

Most of the storytelling tools we're going to explore will require some photos. So we'll look for a few photos on services that have photos available with Creative Commons licensing.

NOTE: Check for licensing terms of any photo you download. You'll need to keep track of where you got the photo to give it proper credit.

Searching for photos can take ages, especially if you're preparing an important presentation and are looking for just the right image to convey your message.

  • Creative commons resources
  • Search for places and ideas and emotions. think of images that might be a metaphor for what you're trying to say.
